          Early Life and Training

          Arkhip Ivanovich Kuindzhi was born in Mariupol, Ukraine (now Zhdanov) in January 1841.

          The son of a Greek cobbler, Kuindzhi developed a passion for art at a young age.

          The artist Arkhip Kuindzhi had two loves in his life.

        1. In Arkhip Kuindzhi exhibited a painting called A Birch Grove.
